I am currently teaching the diverse student population at the University of Houston main campus in Houston, TX. I completed my PhD in Rhetoric and Composition at the University of Texas at El Paso in May 2016 .
My research interests include responding to student writing, multi-modal technologies in the classroom, technical writing, professional writing, education rhetoric, political rhetoric, writing pedagogies and discourse.
My academic background is comprised of political science, technical writing, and organizational communication, prior to entering the field of rhetoric and composition.
